JGM provided final design for the 7-mile perimeter fence around the airfield at Van Nuys Airport, one of the busiest General Aviation airports in the US. Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) is replacing the fence at Van Nuys as part of a mandate to improve security of the airfield at all airports. In addition to the fencing, the total number of AOA access gates will be reduced to 76.

The project is comprised of four types of fence - Chain Link, Sill Fence, Barrier Fence, and Decorative Steel. Due to internal funding considerations, LAWA maintenace elected to self-perform the fence replacement.
