In partnership with Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), Delta Air Lines is embarking on the Redevelopment of Terminal 2 and 3 to meet their operational objectives at Los Angeles International Airport. The initial step towards achieving Delta Air Lines goals is implementing the 2017 Operational requirements to support Delta’s move to Terminal 2 and 3 from Terminals 5 and 6.
As existing carriers occupy the current facilities in T2 & T3, the initial phase of work also includes the relocation and adaptation of facilities within Terminals 5 and 6 to accommodate other airline (OAL) operations. Because LAX is virtually a 24/7 operation, all work must be preciously coordinated between LAWA, Delta, City of Los Angeles DBS, in order to keep the functionality of the terminals.
